Aging & Disability Vaccine Collaborative Led by Mid-Carolina and USAging
Mid-Carolina is partnering with USAging to provide the Aging & Disability Vaccination Collaborative to aid in securing COVID-19 and/or influenza vaccinations for older adults and people with disabilities.
Our focus:
- Vaccination fairs & events in the community
- Supportive services such as scheduling, transportation, companion-assisted to and from vaccincation sites and in-home vaccinations for individuals in need
- Specific focus on diverse & under-served populations
Vaccine Outreach Coordinator: Lanora Washington
Lanora Washington earned her degree in Business Administration from Purdue University. She manages our team and makes sure information is credible and individuals in the community are able to have access to resources, transportation, and other services that assist with our community being vaccinated for our safety.
