Aging & Disability Vaccine Collaborative Led by Mid-Carolina and USAging
Mid-Carolina is partnering with USAging to provide the Aging & Disability Vaccination Collaborative to aid in securing COVID-19 and/or influenza vaccinations for older adults and people with disabilities.
Our focus:
- Vaccination fairs & events in the community
- Supportive services such as scheduling, transportation, companion-assisted to and from vaccincation sites and in-home vaccinations for individuals in need
- Specific focus on diverse & under-served populations
Vaccine Outreach Coordinator: Lanora Washington
Lanora Washington earned her degree in Business Administration from Purdue University. She manages our team and makes sure information is credible and individuals in the community are able to have access to resources, transportation, and other services that assist with our community being vaccinated for our safety.

August 2nd, 16th, and 30th Vaccine Outreach Program will be at the Harry United Methodist Church from 10 am to 2 pm providing information/distribution of Covid test kits/completion of vaccination surveys

Mid Carolina has now partnered with Mt. Pleasant Grove Church of Christ in Fayetteville as we will join them on every 3rd Saturday of the month at their Community Food and Clothing Drive. We will be providing the Vaccine Outreach Program. This month it will be on April 20th at 8:30am-11:30am. 208 N Racepath Street Fay. NC 28301
Mid Carolina will also be at Express Discount Pharmacy conducting surveys for vaccinated individuals, you will receive an incentive for completing the survey.

August 3rd Vaccine Outreach will be Harnett County Health Department at the Back to School Jam @ 12pm-2pm Shawtown Community Park 645 Shawtown Rd. Lillington. We will be providing Child vaccinations and Covid-19 for those eligible and interested.
August 10th Vaccine Outreach will be in Harnett County Health Department at the Back to School Community Event @11 am-3pm 6825 US 401 S. Bunnlevel, NC 28323

Meet the Vaccine Outreach Team as we will be there with the Harnett County Health Department as we will be offering Flu and Covid 19 vaccinations. Please bring your insurance cards and information to participate in getting vaccinated.
Mid Carolina Vaccine Outreach Program and Harnett County Health Department's Newest Mobile Unit will be on the site at the Harnett Food Pantry providing free Flu and Covid 19 vaccine for the community especially for Uninsured children and adults. Everyone 6 months and older needs a flu vaccine each year.
