The Mid-Carolina Regional Council serves as a resource to all our local governments. Listed below are some of the current offerings. 

Services for Local Governments

Elected and appointed leaders may find themselves in need of assistance with specific issues or projects. Mid-Carolina offers a variety of services including:

  • Management consultation
  • Short-term staffing
  • Budgeting and capital planning assistance
  • Human Resources assistance including conflict resolution, mitigation, personnel policy updates, or salary studies
  • Grants administration
  • Strategic Planning / Retreats
  • Training for local elected and appointed officials

Transportation Planning

The Mid-Carolina Rural Planning Organization (RPO) provides transportation planning for Sampson and Bladen Counties, and portions of Cumberland and Harnett Counties. 

Regional Land Use Advisory Commission - RLUAC

RLUAC is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization consisting of 21 units of local government, eight counties and 13 municipalities.  RLUAC works to coordinate land use decisions between Ft. Bragg and local governments. Learn more about RLUAC.
