This resource is available to all local governments in the Mid-Carolina region to help expedite the hiring process. The templates cover positions in administration, finance, fire, parks & recreation, police, planning & inspections, and public works.

Services for Local Governments

Elected and appointed leaders may find themselves in need of assistance with specific issues or projects. Mid-Carolina offers a variety of services including:

  • Short-term staffing
  • Budgeting and capital planning assistance
  • Human Resources assistance including conflict resolution, mitigation, personnel policy updates, or salary studies

  • Training for local elected and appointed officials and government employees

Transportation Planning

The Mid-Carolina Rural Planning Organization (RPO) provides transportation planning for Sampson and Bladen Counties, and portions of Cumberland and Harnett Counties. 

Regional Land Use Advisory Commission - RLUAC

RLUAC is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization consisting of 21 units of local government, eight counties and 13 municipalities.  RLUAC works to coordinate land use decisions between Fort Liberty and local governments. Learn more about RLUAC.
